Rain chances decrease today, temps cooler

JACKSON, MISS– Rain chances decrease across the state today following last night’s storms. 

Starting in North Mississippi, a 30 percent of showers and thunderstorms today. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny with a high near 91. Tonight, a 20 percent of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly clear with a low around 71. Sunny tomorrow with a high near 91.
South Mississippi, 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, mainly after noon. Otherwise, mostly cloudy with a high near 89. Tonight, a continued 70 percent chance of rain, especially before 8PM. Mostly cloudy  with a low around 75. Tomorrow, a 50 percent chance of showers along with a mostly cloudy high near 89.
Central Mississippi, there’s a 60 percent chance of precipitation today, mainly after 11AM. Cloudy with a high near 88. Tonight, showers likely before 9PM. Mostly cloudy then gradually clearing to a low around 72. Tomorrow, there’s a 20 percent chance of early morning showers. Otherwise, sunny with a high near 91 degrees.
