Heavy rains across the state are already affecting the mid-week college baseball schedule.

Ole Miss and Arkansas State were supposed to play today in Oxford, but that matchup has been postponed until tomorrow at 5 p.m. due to rain in the forecast this afternoon. According to Ole Miss Athletics, tickets from today’s postponed matchup will be accepted tomorrow if the game is played.

According to the Weather Channel, there is a 100% chance of rain in Oxford tomorrow, so there may be another postponement on the horizon.

Southern Miss and Troy were supposed to meet at Pearl’s Trustmark Park tomorrow, but the threat of rain in Central Mississippi has caused the cancellation of the game. Southern Miss stated that no makeup date has been scheduled at this time.

For now, Mississippi State is still set to take on UAB tomorrow at 4 p.m. at home, but there is also a 100% of rain throughout the day in Starkville.
