Coach Andy Kennedy’s squad takes one step closer to the National Invitation Tournament final at Madison Square Garden. In a stunning Saturday morning victory, the Ole Miss men’s basketball team advanced over Syracuse 85-80. The Rebels beat a dominant #1 seed Orange team at Carrier Dome in Syracuse, a venue where, according to a tweet by Ole Miss Athletic Director Ross Bjork, only 16% of traveling teams have won. Ole Miss will host their NIT quarterfinal March 21 at the Pavilion in Oxford.
