Recovering From Disaster: Another Flooding Recovery Center Opens

PEARL, Miss. – Flood survivors in Washington County now have a place to get recovery assistance.A Washington County disaster recovery center is now open to provide help to those impacted by the flooding that started on March 9.

The Washington County center is located at the Washington County Convention Center at 1040 South Raceway Road, Greenville, MS 38701.

There is a Coahoma County center open, and a Bolivar County center should open either later Thursday or Friday.

Flooding survivors are encouraged to register their losses to FEMA before visiting the recovery center, by calling FEMA’s hotline at 800-621-3362 or online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
