TUPELO, Miss.–The Lee County Sheriff’s Department is looking into a Thursday report of an attempted child abduction.
WTVA reported the incident happened just after lunch when a large van pulled up in front of a home.
A nine-year-old girl told police an adult man asked her to get into the vehicle but instead she ran inside and the incident was reported.
