Report: State Rep. and Parents Charged With Embezzlement

TUPELO, Miss.–A House of Representatives member from Lee County and his parents have been charged with embezzlement.

The report, coming from WTVA, says warrants from the Miss. Attorney General’s office have been released for Brian Aldridge along with his parents Louis and Janice.

Janice has turned herself in and since bailed out on a $5,000 according to Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson, but Louis is in Alabama and now returning to be taken into custody.

As for Rep. Aldridge the report states he is on vacation and Johnson says they’re in talks with him about when he is returning.

The specifics of the case are not known and all media are being referred to the Attorney General’s office who hasn’t returned a phone call to News Mississippi at the time of this publishing.
