CANTON, Miss.–With a name like Romeo, you might think this guy would do a better job romancing his girlfriend. Instead, cops in Canton say he stabbed her at least 15 times back in February, then went on the lam. Now he’s been caught.
Romeo Miller, of Yazoo City, was caught Wednesday. A report from WJTV TV said he was caught in Silver Creek. That is a small community on Hwy. 84 between Laurel and Brookhaven.
Police said the 46-year-old stabbed her all over her back, arms and hands and then took off.
The girlfriend was in fear for her life for several weeks after that, even having police guard her hospital room and beef up patrols around her house when she got out.
