JACKSON, Miss. – Walter Lee Young, one of two suspects in the murder of an 81-year-old Pearl man, has turned himself in.
The 21-year-old surrendered himself to Victor Mason. Mason is in the middle of running for Hinds County Sheriff.
The second suspect in the case, Loren Blackwell, was picked up earlier this month. Both are charged with auto theft and capital murder, regarding the death of Lee Kendrick.
Kendrick’s body was found inside an abandoned apartment in Jackson on September 2nd.
