Seven People Arrested after Posing as Narcotics Agents and Shooting a Man

ROLLING FORK, Miss.- Seven people arrested in connection to shooting a man. 

The investigation has been ongoing since the home invasion occurred March 29 at a home in Rolling Fork.

Three men posing as Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics agents entered the home that night and held a woman and four children hostage and asked where cash and drugs were in the home, investigators told WAPT.

Erick “Bert” Williams Sr., 39, came home when the men were there and tried to fight the guys. Williams was shot and killed by the men.

Police arrested Antoine Liddell, 29; Frank Finley (age unavailable); Brandon Gilmore, 32; Darkeyus Brown, 23; Andre Williams, 20; Hailey Spears, 20; and Allison Patrick, 23. They are each charged with capital murder in the case.

The arrests followed a manhunt on Monday in Hazlehurst, which ended with Gilmore’s arrest.

Bond for Liddell, of Crystal Springs, has been set at $1 million. Bond for Finley, Brown and Williams was set for each at $750,000. Spears and Patrick’s bond was set at $500,000 and bond has not been set for Gilmore.
