Tea Party Courthouse Lock In Not Closed Case Yet

JACKSON, Miss.  The Hinds County District Attorney’s office has agreed to look into how three Mississippi Tea Party members, including a campaign staffer for State Senator Chris McDaniel, were locked into the county courthouse Wednesday morning,  hours after all election officials had left.

Investigators with the Hinds County Sheriff Department said Thursday afternoon that Scott Brewster, Janis Lane and Rob Chambers did not break any law and would not face criminal charges.  However, Supervisor Robert Graham said Friday he was not satisfied and called up on the DA’s office to investigate.   “There are just too many questions left unanswered, he said in a written statement.  “And I have a great concern for why people were inside the Hinds County Courthouse after hours.  There must be accountability.”
