Severe Weather Expected Tuesday

JACKSON, MISS– You need to be ready for severe weather that could stretch across the state Tuesday, says the National Weather Service.

From Greenville, down to Vicksburg, and up to Columbus is facing a limited threat of hail, high winds, and maybe a tornado Tuesday.

From Vicksburg, moving east across the state and just south of Columbus, there’s a greater threat of tornadoes, high winds, and hail.

The heaviest threat for strong tornadoes is in South Mississippi, from Natchez moving east and south into Hattiesburg.

These storms are expected to move through the state late Tuesday and through the night. News Mississippi will keep you updated on the latest alerts. Follow @News_MS on twitter for active alerts.
