Found Safe: Former Tupelo Police Chief Found in Kentucky

TUPELO, Miss.–Edward L. Crider, 88, was missing from Tupelo Monday, and a silver alert was issued by the Highway Patrol. He was found safe in Kentucky Monday evening.

Crider, the former Tupelo chief of police, was seen driving his 2005 Cadillacaway from Mississippi Monday morning.

He was located in Russellville, Ky. about 10 p.m. It was unclear why he made the trip.
