South Mississippi Humane Society hosts groovy Rock ‘N Roll benefit

It’s the 6th annual fundraiser for the South Mississippi Humane Society. This year the Rock ‘N Roll benefit will be 60’s themed.

With all kinds of far-out fun, gourmet food and drinks, an outta-sight silent auction, rad raffles and even a few of HSSM’s grooby adoptable pets.

The silent auction will include a Blue Marlin fishing charter to the Dominican Republic, an electric guitar signed by all of the members of the Rolling stones, and a wine train excursion to the Napa Valley.

All proceeds are going to the “Chicken Soup Fund.”

“This is our fund that cares for the sick and injured animals that come in to the shelter,” said Katie King, Development Manager. “Any sick or injured animal that comes in and needs x-rays or medicine or surgery, that’s what this fund is for.”

Tito’s handmade Vodka is partnering as a sponsor and will be contributing $3,000 in dog swag.

The VIP starts at 6:00 and the event kicks off at 7:00 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi.
