The Campbell Soup Company is recalling 355,000 individual cans of the SpaghettiO’s Original Cans.
The company says those cans are being taken off shelves and tossed in the trash due to a potential choking hazard caused by small red pieces of plastic. They believe the plastic is part of the can lining that could be peeling off into the mixture. They found the pieces in a small number of cans.
The recall will affect 14.2 ounce SpaghettiO’s Original cans that have an expiration date of February 22, 201. You can find that date stamped on the bottom. Also look for a UPC code of 51000 22432, this printed number is located under the bar code.
