BOONEVILLE, Miss.–Stabbing someone is never a good way to end an argument, but Wesley Owens, of Booneville, is charged with stabbing a juvenile back on May 29, and sending that child to the hospital.

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Dept. finally caught up to Owens Saturday when they pulled him over.

WTVA reports he was charged with aggravated assault for the stabbing. He also had been in trouble in Tishomingo County, where he was wanted. He had several other warrants out for his arrest.

The victim was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis and was later released. He is recovering at home.
