MADISON, Miss.- The Madison County Police Department responded to a house party Saturday night after a stab victim was brought to their headquarters.
The victim was driven to the police station in Madison after an altercation took place. As investigators looked into the situation they discovered the incident occurred after a verbal fight between the victim and a male and female escalated to a physical fight.
The female juvenile then pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper side of his chest.
She later turned herself into police and was taken to the Yazoo County Juvenile Detention Facility until she could be transferred to the Madison County Youth Court.
The victim was taken to the University Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
The names of the individuals involved has not been released at this time.
