Trial for Warren County ax murder to begin soon

WARREN COUNTY, Miss.- The trial for the man accused of killing his uncle when he hit him in the head with an ax will begin soon. 

The jury selection for the trial is scheduled for Tuesday.  Police report that 35-year-old Joseph Patton was charged with the murder of his uncle, 62-year-old Alfred Patton.

Patton’s body was found at his mobile home in September of 2015.

Joseph Patton wasn’t arrested until February of 2016 and he was held in the Warren County Jail without bond.
