FLORENCE, Miss. — Imagine you leave a floral arrangement, a picture, or some other sentimental item at your loved one’s grave site and later you see it for sale online.
That is what happened at a cemetery in Florence and now police are saying a woman from Alabama is responsible.
Brandie Emerson was arrested last week and is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center. Police say she also took items from grave sites in Tennessee and Alabama.
Investigators are still sifting through the 250 different items she has sold since September.
