In north Mississippi expect some areas of patchy fog during the early morning hours. The sun will then be making its appearance and highs for the day will reach into the lower 70s with the coolest temperatures in the state. At night, skies will be clear and lows will drop down into the mid-50s.
In central Mississippi, there will be areas of patchy fog early this morning and some partly cloudy skies that will later clear up. The sun will be out in full force this afternoon warming the temperatures up into the 80s. In the evening, there will be clear skies and lows will cool off into the upper 50s.
In south Mississippi, similar weather as the rest of the state today. Expect sunny skies with highs in the lower to mid-80s. Tonight skies will be mostly clear with lows dipping down into the upper 50s.
