JACKSON, MISS–It’s another clear and beautiful day, but more rain is coming.
North Mississippi, highs near 60 today, clear and sunny, with a slight breeze pulling clouds in as we approach the nighttime hours, overnight lows in the 30’s.
Central Mississippi, a little warmer with highs in the mid 60’s, lows in the mid 40’s, and after midnight the chance of rain grows.. but don’t expect much.
South Mississippi, mid 60’s for the high, mid 40’s for the low.
For Saturday, a chance of rain statewide, starting in the wee hours of the morning and growing.
In North Mississippi, rain likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 51. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of rain is 70%. Up to a quarter of an inch is possible.
Central, you’ll start seeing rainfall after 7am Saturday, up to three quarters of an inch.
And in South Mississippi, you’re looking at A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 59. East wind around 10 mph.
