District Attorney Michael Guest has confirmed that one of the men in the Kingston Frazier murder case is set to be sentenced today.

Over a year ago the lifeless body of 6-year-old Kingston Frazier was found in the back of his mother’s stolen car over a year ago. Then, 19-year-old Byron McBride, D’wan Wakefield, and D’Allen Washington, who were both 17 at the time, were arrested after Frazier’s death.

McBride is the accused shooter and could ultimately face the death penalty. While Wakefield and McBride are both set for trial in October, Washington is set to be sentenced Monday, 7-23-18.

Washington entered a guilty plea back in early February of 2018 for accessory after the fact to kidnapping and said that he will testify against both McBride and Wakefield.
