Temps Will Be Dropping, The Coldest Weather So Far Is This Week

JACKSON, Miss.–Mississippi will get some of the coldest weather so far this week, with the arrival of a front Tuesday.

That system will bring a slight chance of precip in some spots, especially north, but temps were expected to fall to down near 50 in the north part of the state by Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday high could be as cold as the upper 40s and for several nights, you can expect a freeze.

Tuesday night and Wednesday night you can expect to see mid to upper 20s.

By the time Thursday gets here, though, temps will be moderating and you’ll see highs back in the upper 50s and 60s by Friday.
