Thousands of pot plants found in Jefferson Davis

Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics officers are currently investigating a large marijuana bust in Jefferson Davis County.

MBN Director John Dowdy said they discovered the plants on Monday afternoon. They have discovered 60,000 plants so far but the seven fields could contain as many at 100,000 plants. The value of them equals around $50 million.

He said one person has been arrested so far and the name is not being released yet. The investigation is still ongoing.
