Thursday weather rundown 6-15-17: days of storms ahead

North Mississippi waking up to your first round of scattered thunderstorms this morning. You’re looking at about a 60 percent coverage thruout today. Between showers, expect oppressive humidity. Your high only reaching the mid 80s. Storms continue off-and-on thruout the afternoon and into the evening hours. There is a possibility of some turning severe. Things warming to the lower 90s tomorrow as more rain continues.

Central Mississippi you’ll want to keep the umbrella handy as well: you’re looking at a partly cloudy morning with scattered showers marking your afternoon. Another sticky high near 90 in store for you. Scattered rain and thunder continuing into the night, and even into tomorrow morning.

South Mississippi looking at plenty of rain today as well: expect some thunder mixed in thruout your Thursday. Your high ticking toward the upper 80s with high humidity returning. Tomorrow, more of the same: muggy, rainy and hot with highs inching closer to the 90 degree mark.
