After a soggy start yesterday, north Mississippi in for lots of sunshine today: light winds and low humidity going to carry you through you Thursday as highs scratch the 90 degree mark. Tonight staying mostly clear with a low falling to the upper 60s. Tomorrow a few more clouds roll in, highs returning to the lower 90s with a slim chance for a stray shower: about a 20 percent coverage. Saturday looking bright and warm with a high topping out around 90.

Central Mississippi seeing a few scattered showers this morning, with chances increasing throughout today: you’re looking at a 50/50 chance of getting wet after lunchtime so maybe grab the umbrella before you hit the door. A little warmer today: your high reaching the upper 80s. Tomorrow things ticking up to near 90.

South Mississippi seeing lots of rain this morning: the Pine Belt and the Coast getting drenched with plenty more in store for you this weekend the farther south you are.
