Thursday’s Weather: Day of Gray Ahead

JACKSON, MISS– Mississippi will be covered in clouds today, as rain chances continue.

Starting in South Mississippi, a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today with a high near 73. That precipitation will move into the evening hours with showers likely, especially after 1 AM. Aside from that, cloudy with a low around 62. Tomorrow, a 30 percent chance of showers and a mostly cloudy high near 73.

Moving to North Mississippi, a 60 percent chance of showers today with a high of 66. Tonight, a 40 percent chance of showers along with a cloudy low of 54. Tomorrow, still playing the percentages, with a 30 percent likelihood of rain and a cloudy high near 67.

Central Mississippi, a 60 percent chance of  showers and thunderstorms with a high near 72. Tonight, the likelihood of rain continues with a 50 percent chance of showers and an overnight low of 57 degrees. We’ll wrap up the week with a 40 percent chance of showers and a mostly cloudy high near 70 tomorrow.
