Birmingham, AL – A Jackson State University school bus caught fire Monday on I-20/59 near Birmingham.

The bus was carrying JSU’s baseball team to Georgia where they were to play Savannah State University Tuesday.  School officials said that everyone got off ok, and no one was hurt.  Tuesday’s game has been cancelled.

JSU said on its website that the students were being returned to the campus and the university will conduct its own investigation to find out what caused the fire.
