Tip Leads to Arrest of Gautier Murder Suspect

PASCAGOULA, Miss. — The man suspected of shooting a Biloxi man last week in the back, killing him, has been arrested in Pascagoula.

Police say it was a tip that led them to Nicholas De Morst, 23, Monday just before noon.  Officers were at an apartment complex checking the car tag matching the description from an anonymous tipsters, when they say De Morst walked out into the parking lot.  He was arrested without incident.

De Morst is charged with capital murder in the death of Hunter Miller, who was found shot inside a car that crashed in Gautier last week.
