GULFPORT, Miss.–A scary moment Wednesday morning could have been even worse if it wasn’t for some large hedges.
The Sun Herald reports that a three-year-old girl in Gulfport sustained serious injuries after she fell three stories from her apartment window.
Harrison County’s Fire Marshal Pat Sullivan told the paper that the toddler leaned against a screen of a window that was open and apparently it popped off sending the child tumbling.
Luckily some hedges below the window broke her fall or could have been worse.
The child was flown to a Mobile hospital for treatment.
