Top Shelf Weather to Keep You Dry at Least a Week

JACKSON, Miss.–Whether you’re catching up on the mowing and trimming, or you’re heading out to the pool, it looks like the top shelf weather is gonna be around for a while. In fact, it could be a week before you see much rain.

National Weather Service Meteorologist David Cox said Tuesday you’ll be in the upper 80s, with a dry weather pattern.

“It looks like we are in a stretch of dry weather through the work week,” he said.

The reason is high pressure over Mississippi.

“Highs tomorrow are near 90 degrees and it looks like we could reach the lower 90s by the end of this week and this weekend.”
