JACKSON, Miss.- Two cars were left in ashes after a transformer fell on them in a Jackson parking lot.
Near restaurants Saltine and Babalu in Fondren, a transformer fell and started a fire. Once the flames were going it began to catch fire to two vehicles parked near by.
As the fire continued one of the vehicles exploded causing the fire to grow larger.
“A transformer fell on the car and exploded and lit the car on fire, which then lit the grass on fire and another truck. Then it all just started exploding,” said bystander Eli Juren.
No one was injured in the incident.
