Tuesday weather rundown: 8-1-17

Another warm day ahead of you in north Mississippi, though compared to the way things have been lately, you might as well call this week’s temperatures “comfortable.” You’re looking at a high today right around the upper 80s, lower 90s with a few clouds overhead, but little chance for rain. Tomorrow morning you’ve got a slim chance for a stray shower. Expect high temperatures to float in the upper 80s through the weekend.

Across the central part of the state, partly cloudy today, highs sticking in the upper 90s, so again: much cooler than it has been. If you think that’s nice just wait til tomorrow: partly cloudy and a high…of 85. Look for some scattered thunderstorms to reach the area by Friday.

South Mississippi looking balmy today as well: the Pine Belt reaching the upper 80s for your high, with rain chances increasing after tomorrow, likewise along the Coast with highs barely touching 90: expect some rain to reach you Thursday.
