Central Mississippi facing high heat, humidity and lots of sunshine today: highs in the lower 90s marking your Tuesday. As far as rain is concerned, however, you’re out of the woods for a few days. Look for highs in the lower 90s through the weekend.
South Mississippi expecting rain throughout the Pine Belt today as rain showers develop this afternoon. You’re expecting high humidity and heat this week as well: highs touching the mid 90s Thursday.
Closer to the Coast, scattered afternoon showers are a distinct possibility this week. Highs peaking around the upper 80s.
