Turning Off Life Support: Nurse Charged With Depraved Heart Murder

LAMAR COUNTY, Miss.–Turning off the machines that were keeping a 77-year-old alive is the charge against April Renae Grissom, 28, of Petal. She was indicted by a Lamar County grand jury and arrested Wednesday,

Grissom was an R.N. at Wesley Medical Center. The indictment says she turned off the machines, but a news release by the attorney general’s office did not give details as to why they think she did it.
