U-Haul offering its services to flood victims

With the recent warnings of serious flood waters from the Mississippi River, U-Haul Company of Mississippi is trying to help out.

They’re offering 30 free days of self-storage and U-Box container usage to individuals who face the threat of the flood waters.

Officials say that the floods this year could be as bad or worse than those of 2008 and 2011. This could result in millions of dollars of damage, reports WDAM.

The company is trying to lend a hand to people who man not have options in protecting their belongings. Their locations can be found at uhaul.com and if you need more information contact:

The locations that might not have available storage units will offer U-Box portable moving and self-storage containers.

They also have needed supplies in the event of a larger catastrophe such as boxes, propane, and propane tanks in case there is extended power outages.

If you are also in need of boxes you can take advantage of the U-Haul Take a Box, Leave a Box Program. The program allows for customers to return usable boxes in exchange for those they may need, for free. You can drop off and pick up at the nearest U-Haul location.
