UPDATE: Friday weather rundown 6-2-17: more storms on the way

North Mississippi reeling from some heavy overnight thunderstorms, with more spot showers expected thruout your morning: a strong wind going to carry you thru your Friday. Look for a high peaking in the lower 80s. Tonight things will clear up somewhat, but your weekend going to be a wet, stormy one: tomorrow looking at 60 percent coverage, lasting into tomorrow night and clear on into Sunday morning.

Central Mississippi much the same: scattered bouts of thunderstorms expected thruout the day today, high humidity and a light breeze making for a sticky Friday. Today’s high near the mid 80s. You’re in for plenty of weekend rain and thunder as well: tomorrow hanging on a 90 percent coverage thruout the day, lasting thru Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

South Mississippi catching somewhat of a break this morning, but you can look forward to more rain later: scattered thunderstorms returning this afternoon, thru tonight and into tomorrow. Highs around 80. Expect a wet and muggy weekend.
