Vicksburg PD has confirmed that a 21-year old man is still in custody following a Christmas Eve shooting at L.D’s Restaurant and Lounge that left five people injured.
Officers responded to the call around midnight where they found one of the victims outside of the lounge; he was then taken to the hospital.
Upon further investigation, police found out that there were four others injured by the gunfire, and all were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. VPD says that none of the victims’ injuries were life-threatening.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and the man in custody has not been charged.
