The Meridian Arts and Entertainment Center caught fire on Wednesday morning.
Jason Collier, Fire Marshal in Meridian said a piece of equipment being used by roofers caught fire and boiled over, spreading fire onto the building.
The fire has been put out, and there is only minimal damage.
