HATTIESBURG, Ms. – Boosters donated $603,000 to William Carey University student scholarships Tuesday night.
The school was hosting its 5th annual banquet at Southern Oaks and Gardens.
Along with raising money, scholarships were presented in honor of previous event speakers: The Governor Phil Bryant Scholarship, Trent Lott Scholarship, Senator Roger Wicker Scholarship and the Chancellor Robert Khayat Scholarship.
This years keynote speaker was retired 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Charles Pickering.
