Weather For Thursday: No Umbrella Needed Yet, Rain Holding Off Until the Weekend

Jackson, Miss– Sunshine is moving out and rain is moving in across the state this weekend. 

Clouds moving in across the state today, with highs in the 60’s and 70’s.

North Mississippi you’ll see a high in the upper 60’s today, lows in the mid 50’s overnight.Central Mississippi, low 70’s for you with clouds increasing throughout the day. Upper 50’s for the low.South Mississippi, mid 70’s for high, 60’s for the low. Clouds sticking around through the night.

Clouds will stick around through Friday and the weekend, when severe weather is possible.North Mississippi, the weekend of rain showers could get started Friday with highs in the mid 70’s. Lows in the 60’s.Central Mississippi, upper 70’s, cloudy, 60’s overnight.

South Mississippi, upper 70’s, cloudy, low 60”s to kickstart the weekend. Severe weather could move in Sunday.. a little too early to tell yet, but the national weather service says wind, rain, and a tornado are possible. Have a plan in place just in case.
