Weekday weather rundown: 12-21-17

Here’s a quick rundown of what the weather forecast looks like across the Magnolia state.

There is a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. this morning for North, Central, and South Mississippi.

In North Mississippi, cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny. There are areas of fog with visibility near one-quarter mile or less at times in the morning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s and tonight mostly cloudy with patchy fog expected after midnight. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.

In Central Mississippi, a similar forecast as North Mississippi expect cloudy skies in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. There are areas of dense fog in the morning. Highs will be in the lower 70s. Tonight, more clouds with a slight chance of showers during the night. There will also be a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Some patchy fog is expected after midnight. Lows are expected to be in the upper 50s.

In South Mississippi, mostly sunny today with patchy fog in the morning. Highs will be in the mid-70s. At night, mostly cloudy skies with more patchy fog in the evening and some areas of fog after midnight. Lows will near 60.
