Here’s a quick rundown of the weather today across the Magnolia state.

In north Mississippi, there is a freeze warning in effect from until 9 a.m. this morning. Today, not as cool as it was yesterday with sunny skies and widespread frost in the morning. Highs will be in the upper 50s. At night, not as cool with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers. Lows will be in the lower 40s.

In central Mississippi, there is a freeze warning in effect until 8 a.m. this morning. Temperatures will not be as cold today with mostly sunny skies expected and some patchy frost likely in the morning. Highs will be in the lower to mid-60s. In the evening, not as cool with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers. Lows will dip down into the mid to upper 40s.

In south Mississippi, partly sunny skies expected today with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs will reach the mid-60s. Tonight, warmer with mostly cloudy skies and some patchy fog in the evening. There is also a slight chance of showers during the night. Lows will be in the lower 50s.
