You’ll Need the Jacket and the Umbrella This Week

Another cold crisp day across the state as some areas struggle to reach above freezing.

North Mississippi, mid and upper 30’s for the high with some clouds and a slight breeze making it feel a little cooler. Low 30’s for the night with a chance of rain.. so you’ll need to watch out come morning for some frost.

Significantly warmer in Central Mississippi with a sunny clear day reaching low 50’s for the high. A few clouds rolling in overnight blanket the area with a low in the 40’s.

Sunshine and clear in the 50’s for South Mississippi, lows dipping into the 40’s for the overnight low with clouds moving on in.

Wednesday you’ll see clouds start to move in, and you might need that umbrella.

The rain starts early in the morning for North Mississippi Wednesday, dwindling off through the day, with highs in the upper 40’s, dropping just a few to the low 40’s for the overnight low.

Central Mississippi you’ve got a 50/50 shot at rain throughout the day Wednesday with highs reaching 60, dropping into the 50’s overnight.

South Mississippi you’ll see clouds with highs in the 60’s Wednesday, overnight lows in the 50’s and bringing the rain in to stick throughout the week.
