JACKSON, Miss.–The new gun maker headed to the state of Mississippi has ruffled some feathers in the capital city for some people.
On Monday a group of around two-dozen people, lead by Hinds County Supervisor Kenneth Stokes, protested outside of the governor’s mansion.
“Every young person that’s killed by one of those guns is on the governor’s hands,” said Stokes.
The protestors battle cry was,” No justice, no peace.”
“Blood money, that’s what it is…blood money,” Stokes answered in regard to the jobs that are going to be created in Ridgeland by Talon Ordnance.
The company produces a wide-range of guns but will mainly be producing high-powered rifles in the new plant that will create around ten new jobs.
“You’re legalizing killing and you’re supporting killing,” Stokes closed before joining in with the other protestors.
