Fill your basket with Easter eggs at the Ag Museum

JACKSON- On Saturday the Mississippi Agricutlture and Forestry Museum will have it’s yearly Mississippi Egg Marketing Board Easter Egg hunt. 

The fun kicks off at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the hunt begins at 12:00 p.m. sharp. They’ll have face painting, egg dyeing, a train, wagon, and carousel rides. Don’t miss out on tons of fun games, face painting and a petting zoo with bunnies of all shapes and sizes.

The event is for families, but only kiddos under the age of 12 can participate on the egg hunt. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-18.

Don’t go anywhere before you’ve had your photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

“This is such a fun filled family event,” said Mississippi Agriculture and Commerce Commissioner Cindy Hyde-Smith. “We are thrilled to invite families from across the state to join us in celebrating Easter at the Ag Museum.”

The Ag Museum is located at 1150 Lakeland Drive in Jackson. Parking will be available at the Smith-Wills stadium for the event.

The egg hunt is sponsored by Mississippi Egg Marketing Board, Cal-Maine Foods, Mississippi Beef Council, and Outlets at Vicksburg.
