Bodies Burned in Grotesque Double Killing, Victims From Tennessee

MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss.–Two burned bodies were found inside an SUV in Marshall County Saturday and police have now identified the people from Tennessee. Both men were shot several times and police think whoever did it tried to burn the bodies inside the vehicle.

A homeowner found the bodies of Galicia Mansilla Edwin Estuardo of Greenbrier, Tenn. and Erian Conejochavez of Springfield, Tenn., about 10 a.m. Saturday, just yards from his front door. WMC-TV in Memphis said on their website that they talked with the man and he did not want to go on tape, but said it was a horrifying site.

Police on the scene and the MBI said there were multiple shell casings found on the scene, and that the vehicle was brand new, having dealer tags. It was a Nissan Murano.

Investigators said they were not ruling out a drug-related, or a gang-type hit.

If you know anything about the murders, you’re asked to call Crimestoppers or the MBI.
