PEARL, Miss. – If you’re recovering from the massive flooding that started on March 9, there’s now another place you can turn to for help.

The Bolivar County Disaster Recovery Center is now open.

These recovery centers are run jointly by the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. There are members of the agencies there to help you navigate through the recovery process. The Bolivar County center is located at the Willard R Samuels Jr. Gymnasium at 700 N. Chrisman Ave in Cleveland.

The center is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays until further notice. Additional centers are open in Coahoma and Washington counties.

If you were impacted by the flooding, you can visit these centers for help. Prior to your visit, if possible, register online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
