Brandon investigation results in 8 arrests

A seven-month long investigation has resulted in eight arrests for the Brandon Police Department.

The investigation, handled by the Brandon PD’s Narcotics Unit, resulted in the arrest of the eight men and all have been charged with at least one count of Sale of a Controlled Substance. 

According to a news release from the Brandon PD, the suspects are accused of selling a variety of drugs in the area including methamphetamine, LSD, steroids, and marijuana.

All eight were booked into the Rankin County Jail and their bonds range from $5,000-$30,000. 

The Brandon PD also stated that more arrests are “expected.”
