COLUMBUS, Miss.–Police have now arrested a man they say beat up a Lowndes County School District bus driver.
Tyquan Lucius is now charged with aggravated assault for a Friday incident where sheriff’s deputies tell WTVA he entered a bus in Columbus at its last stop and pummeled the driver.
Apparently the few kids left on the bus escaped through the back emergency door and it’s not clear whether they saw the actual fight.
Police say an earlier incident in the day could have provoked the assault.
