OXFORD, Miss.–Two Mississippi State busses were involved in a wreck Saturday night after the Egg Bowl, on the way home. There were Tweets and social media posts about the wreck. No one was hurt seriously, according to one of those Tweets.
The wreck was on Hwy. 6, near the junction with Hwy. 7.
Athletic Dir. Scott Stricklin Tweeted that there were a few bumps and cuts.
WTVA-TV reported that one of the bus’s windshields was busted. The MSU band loaded up the players on one bus and Ole Miss provided another bus for the ride back to Starkville.
